Risk Strategy Group, a data-driven security consulting and training company, announced their expansion of services. Previously focused on mail room security and travel risk assessments, Risk Strategy Group will now offer their clients more comprehensive physical security services.
“It’s important [for security] teams to identify their specific risks, know what to do to mitigate those risks, and then address complacency in their organizations. It’s hard to do that without an outside perspective. By formally expanding our services, we will be able to better serve the needs of our clients, being a true partner in their security and training.”

Risk Strategy Group was first founded in January 2017. Cody Martin launched the company with over 12 Years of federal law enforcement experience with expertise in threat management, active shooter, violent/external crime, and executive protection, focusing on an often overlooked area of vulnerability, mail security.
Since then he’s worked with dozens of Fortune 500 companies, naturally expanding his services into multi-location security teams, firearms training, emergency response, and preparedness.
“The risks my clients face continue to get more complex. Working with small non-profits or large, multi-national corporations, it’s important teams identify their specific risks, know what to do to mitigate those risks, and then address complacency in their organizations. It’s hard to do that without an outside perspective,” shared Mr. Martin. “By formally expanding our services, we will be able to better serve the needs of our clients, being a true partner in their security and training.”
Risk Strategy Group will now offer physical security, firearms training, insurance compliance, and security team development, which is in addition to the dangerous mail response, travel security, and general consulting services already offered.
These services will be focused around private individuals and groups, non-profits, NGOs, corporations, houses of worship, schools, and universities.
