Risk Strategy Group names Dace Clifton as leader over Schools and Places of Worship practices

He brings over 20 years of law enforcement, pastoral leadership, and international travel experience.

Risk Strategy Group, a data-driven security consulting and training company for individuals, organizations, and places of worship, named their new executive Vice President, Dace Clifton, PhD. He will be leading the Schools and Places of Worship practices.

Dr. Dace Clifton

Dr. Clifton started his career at Arlington Police Department in Arlington, Texas, quickly gaining extensive law enforcement experience as a SWAT Sniper, Police Supervisor, and Team Leader. He worked extensively with United States Homeland Security and other federal law enforcement agencies at some of our nation’s largest sporting events, including the Super Bowl and World Series. He also worked as a police supervisor in Crime Prevention, gaining broad experience leading businesses and nonprofits to improve safety and reduce crime.

With over a decade of nonprofit leadership experience serving as Senior Pastor of a church, leading international mission teams, and teaching as an Adjunct Professor, Dr. Clifton understands how organizations can focus on their mission and maximize impact while not compromising safety. He has a passion to help local churches, other houses of worship, and schools.

Dace brings a unique blend of experience, as both a former law enforcement officer and current senior pastor, and will be able to provide valuable insight to our clients.”

Dr. Clifton holds a PhD in Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a BS in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University.
