School Safety Certification – Guardian Training (Seats Available)

Our 4-Day School Safety Certification – Guardian Training is an essential program for school district employees aimed at enhancing the safety protocols within educational environments. This Texas Department of Public Safety authorized course carefully combines theoretical knowledge with extensive hands-on practice to prepare staff for carrying and effectively utilizing defensive handguns on school premises. A key component of the training involves advanced force-on-force scenarios, designed to simulate various threat situations educators might face. Through these immersive exercises, participants learn to navigate potential dangers, employing strategies that emphasize the protection of students and effective collaboration with first responders. The curriculum covers vital topics, including techniques to prevent intruder access, improve handgun accuracy under stress, and use everyday classroom items for defense. The program also focuses on mental preparedness, teaching educators to think and act quickly in emergency situations. Upon successful completion, educators receive a TXDPS Proof of Training Form. This certification is available to active school employees holding a valid License to Carry, providing them with the skills needed to improve campus security.
